MET Laboratories is a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) in the United States. Clients can demonstrate compliance for the U.S. market through the use of this mark (cMETus) on their product(s) which denotes compliance to U.S. Standards. Hermon Laboratories is a Partnership Testing Laboratory of MET Laboratories certified to perform ITE, Measurement & control laboratory use and more tests.

Intertek – ETL SEMKO is a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) in the United States by Occupation of Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) and is accredited by the Standards Council of Canada to test and certify products to Canadian National Standards. Hermon Laboratories is approved Subcontractor for Intertek ETL SEMKO Americas for Certificate of Achievement in the fields of Electrical testing. Clients can demonstrate compliance for both U.S. and Canadian markets through Hermon Laboratories relations with ETL.
Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) in the United States by Occupation of Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) and is accredited by the Standards Council of Canada to test and certify products to Canadian National Standards.
Hermon Laboratories (Test Firm Registration number: 90623, 90624) has been Certified by the Federal Communication Commission as a Test Firm required by Section 2.948 of the FCC Rules for measuring devices subject to Certification under Parts 15 & 18.
TUV Rheinland of North America is a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) in the United States by Occupation of Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) and is accredited by the Standards Council of Canada to test and certify products to Canadian National Standards. Europe
The CE marking symbolizes the conformity of the product with the applicable Community requirements imposed on the manufacturer.
The CE marking affixed to products is the manufacturer or his representative within the EU declare that the product conforms to all applicable Community provisions, and the appropriate conformity assessment procedures have been completed.

The German safety approval mark shows conformity with the German Equipment Safety Law. It is a recognized mark for electrical products, such as office equipment, household appliances and industrial equipment, and is widely accepted throughout Europe. The TUV Rheinland GS Mark signals to the buyer, customer and consumer that the product, as well as the user manual and production process, has been tested by an authorized institution such as TUV Rheinland and is supported by regular surveillance audits.
Any electrical, mechanical or electro-mechanical product bearing the GS Mark indicates that it was tested and complies with the minimum requirements of the German Equipment and Product Safety Act (a.k.a. GPSG). The GS Mark, which stands for Geprüfte Sicherheit in German and means Safety Tested, is a licensed mark of the German government and may only be issued by an accredited product safety testing and certification agency. A GS mark issued by Intertek will carry its “S Mark” identifier above the mark.
The S Mark is a European safety mark valid throughout the EU. The testing and certification regimen for the S Mark is the basis for CE marking and the required documentation. Products bearing the S Mark demonstrate compliance with legal European electrical safety requirements via third-party testing
The EMC/EMV mark demonstrates compliance with the electromagnetic compatibility (emissions and immunity) law as well as the EMC requirements specified in the European EMC Directive 89/336/EEC. TUV Rheinland of North America, Inc. can provide EMC testing services through its own EMC facility, appointed laboratories or its own mobile EMC lab used for regional on-site testing of large equipment.
Canada
Hermon Laboratories is Certified by the IC to comply with RSS 212, Issue 1 (Provisional) for the performance of radiated measurements and for Telecom testing.
CSA is a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) in the United States by the Occupation of Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) and is accredited by the Standards Council of Canada to test and certify products to Canadian National Standards.
Clients can demonstrate compliance for both U.S. and Canadian markets through Hermon Laboratories relations with CSA.
International
The CB Scheme – or CB Agreement – is a multilateral agreement among participant countries and certification organizations utilizing a CB Test Report issued by one of these organizations. It provides you with entrance to many markets. Hermon Laboratories is both NCB and CBTL under the CB scheme.
The T-Mark shows conformity to a specific standard, based on the manufacturer’s specification. It enables the manufacturer to show that the product has been investigated to a particular safety requirement and the manufacturing process is regularly inspected.
Recognized Component Mark and Canadian Recognized Component Mark
These are marks consumers rarely see because they are specifically used on component parts that are part of a larger product or system. These components may have restrictions on their performance or may be incomplete in construction. The Component Recognition marking is found on a wide range of products, including some switches, power supplies, printed wiring boards, some kinds of industrial control equipment and thousands of other products. Products intended for Canada carry the Recognized Component mark with “C”.

Japan
Hermon Laboratories (Member No. 592) has registered in accordance with the Regulations for Voluntary Control Measures.
The PSE Mark is a mandatory mark for Japan according to the Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law (DENAN). It is administered by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). It enables fast access to the Japanese market.
Jate (Japan Telecom) – Japan Approvals Institute for Telecommunications Equipment
Hermon Labs can provide radio certification services for Japan via TELEC. Telecom Engineering Center (TELEC) Foundation, former MKK, was founded in 1978. Since then, TELEC has been providing a technical regulations conformity certification service, a testing service for radio equipment and a calibration service for measuring devices under designation by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) pursuant to the Radio Law of Japan for more than 20 years and had endeavored for the development of Info-communication society through those services.
Hermon Labs can provide Radio and Telecom certification services for Japan via DSPR.

China
The CCC Mark is a safety and quality mark for products sold in the Chinese market. It is required for products in 19 groups, divided into totally 132 product categories.
Vietnam
Vietnam MIC has approved Hermon Laboratories as an accredited test lab. Per decision No. 194/QD-QLCL (dated December 15, 2009), Hermon Laboratories test reports can be used for Vietnam approval submission. The Ministry of Information and Communications of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is the policy making and regulatory body in the fields of press, publishing; posts; telecommunications and Internet; transmission; radio frequency; information technology, electronics; broadcasting and national information infrastructure; management of related public services on behalf of the government.
Hong Kong
Established on 1 July 1993, OFTA is the executive arm of the Telecommunications Authority, who is the statutory body responsible for regulating the telecommunications industry in Hong Kong
Taiwan
The Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection (BSMI) under the Ministry of Economic Affairs is the authority responsible for standardization, metrology and product inspection in Taiwan.
The activities of the BSMI encompass the development of national standards, the verification of weights and measuring instruments, the inspection of commodities and the provision of other certification or testing services. The BSMI has seven departments, six administrative units, six branches and thirteen offices. The six branches are located in Keelung, Hsinchu, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung and Hualien.
In an effort to enhance industrial competitiveness, maintain fair trade, and protect consumers as well as ensuring sustainable economic development, the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection under the Ministry of Economic Affairs has been dedicated to promoting standardization, metrology and inspection systems in line with international practices.
Russia
GOST R certification is mandatory for a wide range of products, which is based on safety testing (IEC standards with Russian deviations), EMC testing and for products in contact with food for hygienic certification. It enables fast access to the Russian market.
Australia / New Zealand
EMC and Radio communications Compliance Labeling using the C-Tick mark. The compliance label indicates that the product complies with the applicable standard and establishes a traceable link between the equipment and the manufacturer, importer or their agent responsible for compliance and for placing it on the Australian market.
Telecommunications Compliance Labeling using the A-Tick mark The compliance label indicates that the product complies with the applicable standard(s) and establishes a traceable link between the equipment and the manufacturer, importer or their agent responsible for compliance and for placing it on the Australian market. It is also an indication to the user that the product can be connected to a telecommunications network operated by a carrier or carriage service provider.
South America
The S-Mark product certification is mandatory according to Resolution 92/98 of the Argentinean government for all electrical and electronic products with a nominal supply voltage in excess of 50V. The test standards used in Argentina are IEC-based.
Israel
The HL or Hermon Laboratories (tested safety) mark is a voluntary certification mark applied to finished products that signifies their compliance with all the statutory requirements of the Israeli Product Safety standards. The scope of the HL mark includes essential product characteristics such as electrical safety and hazardous material use, ergonomics, and noise, and also covers an evaluation of a manufacturer’s factory production. Applying an HL mark to your product reassures safety-conscious Israeli consumers, as well as quickly demonstrating compliance to Israeli’s regulators.
